Dean of Students & Dean of Academic Affairs

Dean of Students – Mrs. Lori Cassner

It is an honor to introduce myself as the Dean of Students at Hillsboro Christian Academy.  I feel very blessed to be a part of HCA and to be able to support the students, families, faculty, and staff in any way I can.

I have been in the field of education for eighteen years.  Prior to becoming the Elementary Principal I worked with students in fourth grade through High School, ultimately finding fifth grade as my home.  I am excited to be able to utilize my skills as an educational leader at HCA and to partner with you in education to ensure your child's success.

Education is a once in a lifetime opportunity to open children's hearts and minds creating hope for our future. I pray that you will see my love for God, for the school, and for the students not in my words, but with actions and in truth.

God Bless,

Mrs. Lori Cassner

Dean of Academic Affairs

Hello!

My name is Emily Schelling.

I am honored to be serving Hillsboro Christian Academy as the Dean of Academic Affairs. I am a graduate of Southern State Community College and the University of Cincinnati, with degrees in the field of special education.

I am also a wife and a mom of 4 Hillsboro Christian Academy students.

My heart is to serve students and families in an educational setting that values academic success as well as spiritual growth. I spent several years teaching in the public school setting, but had always kept an open heart for working in a non-public educational setting.

The opportunity to work here and bring our children here to receive a Christ-centered education is a blessing that I do not count lightly.
