Exciting News: Therapy Dog Visits for the 2025-2026 HCA School Year!
I am thrilled to share some exciting news for the upcoming 2025-2026 HCA
school year! We have been fortunate to welcome two therapy dogs, Max and
Crosley, along with their handler, Emma Sanderson, to visit our school
throughout the year.
Emma and her dogs will collaborate with our school counselor, Dr. Christie
Parker, to work on enhancing social-emotional skills among our students.
Additionally, there will be opportunities for students to read to the dogs,
fostering literacy skills and helping them to become confident readers.
We look forward to seeing the positive impact this program will have on our
students.
